It's with great sadness that I post that Rock-It Rick from The Rockin & Surfin Show passed away on Monday April 29th. He had a long battle with cancer and had such a hard time for so many years. I'll miss his jokes and movie quotes. I take solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain and misery. I will miss him a lot!

Tonight’s Show is a tribute to Tye Day The Music Died. When Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and JP Richardson (The Big Bopper) died in the plane crash on February 3 1959.

It's the spot where the beloved rocker with the geek glasses and hiccup-y voice met an early end. The site is often marked with items added by visitors.
