***RABIES UPDATE***Childress County now has 9 rabies cases. Here is the rabies notice and letter from the Texas Department of State Health Services, which was written before the 9th rabies case was confirmed. Another Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Fair Park Pavilion.

***UPDATE***Today is the last day to register to vote. If you’re unsure you are a registered voter, you can contact the voter registrar at 940-937-2232.

Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 21 and goes through Friday, Nov. 1. It is located at the Law Library at the Childress County Courthouse.
