It's with a mix of nostalgia and sadness that Dandelion Market must say goodbye to its current home on 5th street in Uptown Charlotte. Our last day of operations will be on July 21st.  For years, we have tried to be more than just a restaurant; we have tried to be a hub for the community, a place where neighbors met, memories were made and exchanged.

As we reflect on the last 15 years, we remember the friendly faces, great times and many celebrations had. While this marks the end of an era, let's celebrate the memories made and the friendships forged within those walls. Let's cherish the legacy of Dandelion Market and carry its spirit forward to its next iteration.

Thank you to the Charlotte community for being so supportive of us over the past 15 years and we look forward to celebrating over the next few weeks and the time we get to serve you again!

Hi friends! Just wanted to let everyone know-

In response to the grief that has struck our Queen City in the past week, Duckworth’s Grill & Taphouse, Link & Pin and The Cellar at Duckworth’s are holding a fundraiser for the families directly affected by this great tragedy.

Today, Wednesday, May 8th, they will donate 5% of ALL sales from ALL locations to the grieving families of each brave officer through the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Foundation - Help Our Heroes Fund. The money raised will go directly to the families of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Joshua Eyer, Department of Adult Corrections Officer Sam Poloche, Department of Adult Corrections Officer William Elliott and Deputy U.S. Marshal Thomas Weeks.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Gus’ Sir Beef will be closing its door for good and will not reopen without a blessing from God’s hands. We will miss the opportunity to say our farewells in person and love on our many customers, family and close friends that have made Gus’ everything it was, is and will always be; a place to come home to; a place to enjoy a simple homemade fresh meal, and a place to make new friends. We love you all. Thank you for my 23 years at Gus’, and for the 54 years under my parents, and family. It has been a privilege and our honor to serve the Charlotte and surrounding communities these many years.
