Founded in 1883, the Charlevoix Courier is the newspaper of Charlevoix, Michigan. The paper publishes weekly on Fridays. In 2006, the Charlevoix Courier, along with its sister publications the Petoskey News-Review and the Ga***rd Herald Times, was purchased by Schurz Communications. In 2019, it was sold to GateHoue Media. As part of the GateHouse Media/Gannett merger in late 2019, the Courier is now owned by the largest newspaper company in the country, by both number of papers and print circulation.
