For the release of this new beer the crew at PBC wanted to experiment with different types of storytelling and finally settled on a good humor approach.

Working with KOZ of True North Trout was a serious pleasure! Brian's deep seated love for chasing trout on the rivers of Northern Michigan have turned his passions into one of the areas most successful guiding services.
A Lake Michigan circle tour is just about 1,100 miles of pedaling.
The first 400 miles and the last 200 are in our home state of Michigan.
Seeing this sign meant that we were very close to home and our journey would soon be coming to an end.
I was lucky to have three of my best friends with me in this effort to raise money for my kids school.

Another 65 mile day.
The sun was shining, I ate some amazing Indian food in Milwaukee and we finally hooked up with meek the jerk.
I’m not even gonna lie, this day was goofy.
We stopped in Port Washington to grab a quick meal before sunset and made friends with an adorable older couple who ‘just had to know everything’ about our trip.
These people were insanely nice 👍 so nice in fact, they paid for our meal... and like 5 shots of Jameson... which made the last 20 miles very enjoyable 🙌
As we finally pulled in to the campground we were excited to see Boon Coon, who would be finishing out the tour with us.

Chicago was nearly the half way point of our trip, which was exciting🤘
Chicago is one of my favorite places, but I was less then stoked to try and find a place to pitch a tent. This meant that we’d be airbnb’ing it, which was actually a very welcomed thing.
We decided to take a rest day in the city, which consisted of transferring Airbnb’s, drinking delicious cocktails at the Flat Iron and playing Mario Kart on N64.... oh, and sleeping, lots and lots of sleeping 😴

Riding through big cities at night🤘
One of my favorite things.
The lights, cars and noises are all breathtaking. It’s such a stark contrast to the scenery that I spend most of my time cycling in.
I was excited for Chicago, it was going to be our first test day in a week and I had my mind set on eating a TON of food.

We pedaled 8+ hours nearly everyday of our tour. It was awesome to have an opportunity to chat that much, share stories and ultimately suffer through the day together.

Looking back on this day, I honestly don’t remember why it seemed so hard to get through.
We’d been pedaling 70 miles a day for 5 days but we all felt pretty good and rested.
When we made it to the state park in Holland I was over it. The park ranger said they were out of campsites and I almost lost my sh*t... seeing as the next closest campsite was another 20 miles away... the ranger opened up a reserve spot for us and directed us towards a warm meal. Within minutes of sitting down to eat all of the days troubles faded, laughter ensued and good times were had.
This is the key to life, yeah? adapt and move on?
