The Uncanny Valley premiers Saturday, October 5, at 8pm in the Black Box Theater of Swain Hall on UNC’s campus: http://goo.gl/maps/zyzVT. Show times: Saturday, October 5 at 8pm; Sunday, October 6 at 2pm; Thursday, October 10 through Saturday, October 12 at 8pm; and Sunday, October 13 at 2pm. Student Union Box Office. Advance tickets are $5 for students, $10 for general admission. Tickets may also be purchased with cash or check at the door—$8 for students, $12 for general admission. A robot is one of two lead actors. In exchange for wealth, s*x, and a clean slate, Edwin agrees to have his mind uploaded to a robot programmed to mirror the human mind. The play follows Edwin as his contractual obligations begin to outweigh the compensation he receives.
