People often don’t realize how hard it is to have a fully planned, produced, rehearsed, mulled-over, perfectly thought-through shoot… and still somehow capture a “real”, in-the-moment, fly-on-the-wall image. Lived in, but not too messy! Engaged and emotional, but not not too crazy! Product needs to be in it, but not too obvious or deliberate! Wait… that’s not enough! That’s too much! 🤪

Call us crazy, but we love it all.

What. A. Time. The production world is on fire and we are all the things; excited, relieved, oh-so-tired, hustling, elated to be with one another...

As larger productions came to a halt last year and life became all about skeleton crews and wading through safety protocols, it felt like things may never be the same again. People were scared to work, and scared not to work. It was challenging in ways we didn’t even know existed.

I also witnessed so many beautiful human moments within this industry that I will carry with me forever. Outstretched hands. Love. Community.

Grateful for this little company of mine and all the people we’re lucky enough to collaborate with along the way. The views most days aren’t so bad either😍

This was the first shoot we traveled for last year after the pandemic hit. On top of the anxieties associated with that, fires were raging in the PNW and we arrived to a smoky mess. Thankfully, I had a rockstar photographer, , a dream team crew and wonderful, collaborative clients. Super proud of the magic we were able to capture in spite of... 2020 🙈
