Located right outside of downtown Buffalo, the museum can be found among other greats on the list, including the Le Grand Mazarin in Paris, Manam Chocolate in India and the White Desert in Antarctica.

This week in 1981, The B-52's released "Party Mix!" on Warner Bros Records. It features six remixed songs from the band's first two albums.

Then in 1991, "Party Mix!" and a 1990 remix version of the "Mesopotamia" Ep were combined and released as one CD in N. America. In Europe, both albums were made available on separate CDs, with Mesopotamia retaining the original U.S. mix.

On this day in 1987, ECHO & The BUNNYMEN released their 6th album "Echo & The Bunnymen" on Warner Bros/Sire Records. It would be the last album to feature all four original members of the band. Drummer Pete de Freitas would be killed in an motorcycle accident in 1989. 😞
