The state has offered a temporary pause of the HALT Act to get striking prison guards to return to work, but correction officers aren't sold on the proposed compromise.

A memorandum was sent out by DOCCS on Thursday that gave a list of proposals to corrections officers who are on strike at over 30 facilities across the state. However, COs will return to work when their entire list of demands is met. More from WBEN:
