"Painting with light" is a photographic technique that involves moving a light source while taking a long exposure photograph. The process allows a photographer to create striking visual effects by "drawing" with light, illuminating specific parts of a scene selectively. The challenge here was to produce the effect during the day, and utilizing electronic flash, without the long exposure.

One of the best reasons to have a show board created is to have it show info about the car you're showing. Some history of the car, it's origination, or what you have done to make it yours... brings attention from judges and the spectator.

The season for creating beautiful show boards for displaying your show car is upon us. I have had the honor of creating quite a few over the course of this year already. Veteran, business owner, community volunteer, car guy, and father. Mr. Dick Vlist will be missed and dearly remembered by many and of course family. I only knew him briefly during a photo session, but remember him being warm and friendly. RIP Mr. Vlist, and condolences to all in the Vlist family.

It's a '65 Mercury Comet designed as an Aussie Ute. No they never built one down under. Ron designed and built it himself! It's right hand drive even! Very cool Ron. Good luck at the show!
