This is a Study coarse I created using My iMac,iPod iPad and social Networking to ensure success on oral Civil Service examinations is the state of NJ. The candidate should develop
a pre-planned framework, or template in order to organize their responses to ensure
thoroughness. As much as I recommend you having a template, you must adapt
to challenges presented.

1 Understanding what the asse

2 From what perspective are you answering the question(s)? I.e. Incident Commander, Engine Company Officer, Ladder Company officer, etc.

3 What are the challenges presented in the exercise? These are three of the most common. Reading comprehension is critical! TEMPLATE’S are bold… (This is where you fill in the blanks. Senario Specific answers here!)

A.D.I.M.E. = (ANALYZE, Develop, I.D. and Impliment, Monitor, Evaluate)

1 FACT FINDING. ID THE PROBLEM (Inquire why rig was positioned in such a manner)

2 MEET WITH FIREFIGHTER. ADDRESS ALL SAFETY ISSUES AND SOP’S and set goals to fix problems.

3 SET FIREFIGHTER AT EASE meeting is CONFIDENTIAL/ Always end on a possitive.

4 EXPLAIN PURPOSE (Address apparatus positioning) Pause and Listen.

5 Ask for EXPLAINATION as to placement …( Was he Unaware? Unable? Unwilling? to comply)

6 EXPLAIN WHY THE POSITIONING WAS INAPROPRIATE (Difficult Stretch delayed Engine Operations)

7 DEVELOPE SOLUTIONS. with Firefighter and other crew members. Team Work!

8 REVIEW SOPs(Use the SOP’S to show proper Placement of Apperatus to MAXIMIZE SCRUB AREA.)

9 IDENTIFY if this is a recuring problem. PULL ALL RECORDS, CHECK TRAINING RECORDS.

10 SET UP TRAINING OPERATIONS for Firefighters and for entire crew

11 OPEN DOOR POLICY for questions and advice.CONFIDENTIAL

12 DOCUMENT any … meetings / training / investigations/ Disiplinary

13 FOLLOW UP and hold Firefighters accountable for improvement.

14 REPRIMAND or PROGRESSIVE DISAPLINE/Written Reprimand if this known
violation of SOP is a reoccurring PROBLEM.

15 INFORM Firefighter on his DUE PROCESS and his RIGHT TO APPEAL any decision.

16 WRITTEN REPORTS to keep the Chief informed.

17 EAP if Not correctable in a timely manner

18 Provide RECOMANDATIONS to Chief for future actions.

Pest Control takes on many forms. FIGHTING FOR UNDERDOGS is ALWAYS MY MISSION. In retirement my PTSD’s come in handy dealing with the umpires.

In my firefighter career there was passion in fighting for OUR “Right to Know!”

The Cory Booker fight got me started seeking justice within our BOARD ROOM. Unaware of the back room deals being made by 16 firefighters out of 600. Those are life and death decisions that taught me how to identify the self Serving power hungry in our ranks.

Who knew that LITTLE LEAGUE BOARD ROOMS are filled with the same self serving people and I would be dodging the same RHETORIC.

Turns out I continue to get under the skin of the people that irk me! You need really thick
Skin to be me.

In 2004 I started training to take the Captains Test for the City of Newark, NJ Memories, Making video and sound files I could listen to in my car since I spent a lot of time there. I found that if I studied this way it helped me conquer my ADHD. I also realized I was camera shy and this compounded my challenge. The process worked and soon my files would find their way onto multiple iPods and iPrepPro.com was born. Now in an effort to bring this approach to multiple venues. iPrepPro is now setting up a YouTube presence as a Multimedia Training Program using the same concept and practices. This will be a grass roots approach using all of the social media platforms to promote our iPrepPro.com website which still assists anyone in the State of NJ to find the most up to date links for Firefighters taking promotional exams.

Our Story

I am trying to figure out what will work best on camera to start documenting every painting with a Vlog. In the process I am finding spots on my neck I miss with the razor and I probably need a 2 camera shoot so I can talk to somebody. ANYBODY! This is step 2 in my Portrait painting process. Step 1 is how I get the reference drawn on the computer using Painter so I don't have to pay a monthly fee with Photoshop. There are a few things that need to be corrected before I make my own Paint by numbers. My goal is to get everyone interested in producing their own Legacy Portrait Painting.
