My film Ride to Slide will be out on STIO's and Hyperlite Mountain Gear's channels on April 17th! I make a music playlist for each film I work on. They are very loose. It helps me focus in on the tone I want to film to radiate. Usually the songs in the final film are in the playlist. Perhaps this playlist has some new music to you that you enjoy. I hope so.

Meet the team!

Featuring Alara Jones—assistant editor.

Alara grew up in Vancouver, WA, but has lived in Bozeman since 2017 completing her BA in Film Production and minor in Psychology.

With an appetite for creation, she has worked on several MSU faculty short films as a hair and make-up artist, produced a short dark comedy, and has written and directed her own short horror film entitled Do Not Develop.

Alara is happy to step into many creative roles on film projects, editing is her main passion and she hopes to move people with the stories she helps piece together.

Meet the team!

Up first: Greg Cairns —founder, director & editor.

Greg is a documentary filmmaker, editor, and Idaho river guide. His previous commercial clients include Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, Outdoor Life Magazine, Backcountry.com, and the National Science Foundation.

In 2017 his film "Out There" won Best Short Doc at the Durango Independent Film Festival. Adventure Journal has described his work as "subtle, delightful and sneakily powerful."
