2024 was just getting the ball rolling. A few days late and a few dollars short but hey that’s life.

When your passion is hunting you learn that gear is a necessity. From coolers to tents, rifles to stoves, boots to optics, the list goes on. Hundreds and then thousands of days separate the good from the bad and your kit of core products establishes itself. Love it or hate it gear and products will always be a part of the outdoor experience. 2025 will be a big year and part of that is sharing and reviewing the products we put countless days on. With the new year comes new plans and here the wheels are fully in motion. So if you’re into gear and want our take on something, drop us a line and we’ll see what we can do to help turn our days in the field into relevant info to help you have more fun on your next hunt.

How it started, how it ended.

A dinosaur of a bull for from a few years back. After three long days of post holing in the head end of a few remote basins, we had to turn back and head for the trucks. As we snuck down through a concealed pocket caught a gap in the trees and spotted this bull laying above a cliff on a small sliver of grass. Travis quickly moved into position and a crack from his rifle put the bull down. Unfortunately down meant down off the cliff and he broke portions of the rack off both sides. When we got to the bull he was an outstanding old warrior even with the broken and lost inches. A dropper with a split and solid mass provided plenty and we were amped to notch another tag on a solid bull. Here’s to dreaming of next elk season and the future memories from deep in the mountains 🍻

Beat up ears and a trashy look made for an easy decision for . Mountain muleys here in Montana is the realest of love/hate relationships. Just nice to live on the love side once in a while. Also, the OG has been good luck this year. Might even have to order a new batch 😎
