Parallel Worlds Productions finds itself nestled in the Treasure Valley of south western Idaho. Our passion is Narrative story telling through film and because of this passion we offer a wide variety of visual and audio production services to the public as well. We are fully equipped to handle a wide gamut of film production needs including commercials, documentaries, music videos, web-series shor
ts and feature length films, motion graphics, 3d rendering, and more - there is little that our group cannot handle! We feel that Boise is a prime location to fulfill your film production needs (ours too!)and this area is loaded with hidden talent just waiting to be discovered. With nearly 365 days a year of perfect filming weather, a strong and supportive, pro-filming community we couldn't think of a better place to be!

*OPEN AUDITIONS/CASTING CALL* (unpaid)
Looking to cast a few people for an upcoming comedy/spoof video skit in association with Parallel Worlds Productions. This video skit will be unpaid, but should be a lot of fun for anyone who wants to be involved. Jake and I have had this script written for quite a while and have decided to go for it. We already have the production crew and equipment in place, now we need the talent. This will likely take 2-3 weekends to shoot in the Treasure Valley area. All in the warmth of the indoors, and we'll be starting principal within the next 3-4 months as we bring the final pieces together.
We'll be reviewing video auditions over the next month or so. If you are interested in taking part in this skit, reply to this message or message me directly, and I'll send you sides and further details.
We're casting for the following roles (the character age range isn't set in stone, so if you come in a little over or under the range we've put down for the characters, please feel free to audition):
Leslie
30-65yo Female - Overly cheerful personality. Prankster. Fun-loving. Midwestern mannerisms.
Leia
18-30yo Female - Literal Princess. Stubborn. Motivated. Ruthless. It's her way or the highway... and she always gets her way.
Luke
18-30yo Male - Spoiled. Jaded. Angry. Rocky relationship with his father. Dead mother. Struggles with his emotions and new-found powers, and staying true to being "good."
Vader
20 - 45yo Male - Dissatisfied with his current position. Absent father. Incredibly powerful. Bro mentality towards employees he likes. Otherwise, serious and stiff.
Tom
20-35yo Male - Good friend of Vader. Surfer/Bro mentality. Party-goer. Recently changed careers.
Worf
20-35yo Male. Tough as nails. Short fuse. Chauvinistic.
Spock
20-35yo Male - Incredibly intelligent. Analytical. Dry/matter-of-fact. Rarely gets excited.
Kirk
20-35yo Male - Fun loving. Arrogant/cocky. Competitive leader and schemer. He is used to getting his way.

For those who don’t know H48 is a film competition where you have to concept, script, shoot, edit, and deliver a film in 48 hours with specific criteria met.

We’re still looking for a location to shoot next weekend on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. (Likely just Saturday into Sunday). Preferably something creepy as it’s for the H48 film competition. Old house or building, Cabin, forest or wooded area, large basement, industrial, work shop, barn, etc. And preferably something in a relatively close in proximity to the treasure valley but that’s relatively negotiable. Any suggestions or contact leads would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats to all the teams! WILDA took the history award for the most true to the actual story. Super excited about that! Mason's crew really crushed it their film took best of AND audience choice. It was amazing work for sure!
