Yesterday was a beautiful day. We had alot of fun conversations with folks as we delivered lunches and hot Chicken Taco Soup.
I was super bumped we found a man walking down the street in the heat with NO SHOES. The biggest size we had with us was a 13 and he was a 15. He had nothing but pair of shirts and a shirt.
So we loaded him up with a carry bag of hygiene and a blanket as well as 2 lunches and some cold drinks.
We gave out quite a bit of dogfood yesterday as well now that we have some again.

It was surprising how many are in sleeping bags already. But it is getting pretty chill at night now. We gave out 9 throw blankets with carry bags yesterday.
This photo is from our first stop down in one if the parks. It's one of our favorite stops. These folks love Hot soup and lunch bags. I know you can't see them well back in the shade as we don't show people close up for their privacy. But they love to chat with us and then all go to the tables and eat the soup immediately. Fill their bellies and then take a nice nap 😴 lol
It was a fun day.
We are out of drinks to offer so hopefully some donations come to the donation bin this week so we can go back out again next weekend.

I cook with my heart. So I never really know what I will come up with until I start adding stuff to the pot.
This week's soup going out to the un housed will be Chicken Taco Soup. 😋 😋

Whenever the church in town gets a truck load of food to share w the community my in law brings us what they have.
Today was frozen broccoli,fries and guacamole 😋
But she brought 4 boxes which was 80 pounds of frozen broccoli 🥦 🤔 😐 🙄 😄 🤣
So I shared 3 boxes with my buy nothing Group.
Broccoli and cheddar soup 🍲 😋 will be on the menu this week 😋

This is Kerri "The Lady On The Mountain"
She is who I also requested help with. A couple of you ordered off the Amazon wish list for her.
This is what we all were able to donate for her.
This is her hut she built by herself.!
6 plus mths is a long winter for her snowed in up there. And she lives alone w her 2 cats and no help and now they took her disability income.

My friend Will be going back up the 19th if anyone else would like to help m. She still could use some pasta and soups along with toilet paper. Just message me with any questions
