We have worked with over 300 filmmakers over the past 7 years to land them distribution deals. While it's a very uneven landscape, following is the youngest filmmaker I've ever met. He was 16 when he made the film and 17 when he signed with us.

[Actually, he was so young his mom had to sign the contract! I wish I was so lucky.]

Testimonial follows.

Dear Mr. Nohe,

Thank you for helping me find Distribution for my film the Get Rich Quick. Things have been going well and I must say it has been a learning experience to say the least. With learning how to create and manage deliverables, learning Marketing strategies, and better Communication.

This whole experience has done so much for me and taught me so much about the film industry and how it works and functions. I really appreciate everything you have done for me in helping my dream come true. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Samuel L. Pierce

The days of adventures and merriment have come to an end, as Christopher Robin, now a young man, has left Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet to fend for themselves. As time passes, feeling angry and abandoned, the two become feral. After getting a taste for blood, Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet set off to find....

Some updated Testimonials July 2023. Additional References upon request.

Alex Nohe and Blood Sweat Honey have been terrific partners for us. On each occasion when we collaborated, Alex brought home the bacon, viable and economically attractive offers to distribute our documentaries. Alex knows his way through the thicket of content distribution. His smarts, relationships and diligence produce results. He focused us on the marketplace, explained how he would go about attracting offers and executed as he promised. BSH is a great representative for filmmakers and I look forward to our next project together.
– Sam Katz, Producer, History Making Productions

Give Blood Sweat Honey your most serious consideration. I've made three small budget but highly ambitious feature films. Alex Nohe saw their potential and helped me place them with quality distributors. I'm highly satisfied with the results.
– Richard Bailey, Filmmaker, A Ship of Human, King Judith, The Dark Sisters

Alex Nohe knows magic. He hooked us up with one of our dream distributors and triggered a bidding war. Even our runner ups were mind blowing and offered generous deal points that I never expected to receive. Grateful. Alex made it happen.
– Michael Wild, Hallucinations

I was anxious and overwhelmed by the idea of finding distribution for my first film. I talked to a lot of producer's reps and distributor's reps – had no idea what the difference was – and felt sort of manhandled. Everything seemed rushed, every conversation felt evasive, and I didn't want to pretend I understood what I didn't understand. I saw no benefit in that. Alex was different. He immediately felt like a normal person, like a genuine human being. He explained what he did, what I could expect, what the process would look like. It was all very logical and made perfect sense. Then I asked him to tell me what I wasn't asking but should be. He thought about the conversation and gave me a few points that I hadn't realized I should be covering with everyone.
We went with Blood Sweat Honey and never felt anxious about that decision. Alex was responsive to the many questions I had as we moved through the process, again told me what I might be forgetting to ask distributors, and helped me weigh options with honest feedback. He felt immediately like part of our team. And because of his work and guidance, we signed with a distributor I also feel confident about.
– Hope Madden, film critic - writer | director | producer, Obstacle Co**se

My experience with Blood Sweat Honey was my first time partnering with a sales agent. They worked with me to get the film ready to sell, and they coached me through the process of negotiating and choosing between the different distribution offers. I couldn’t be more happy with the way it all went.
– Ben Scholle, MFA, Senior Professor, Cinema Arts, Lindenwood University

From the perspective of myself and my son, your help and guidance throughout the whole process was wonderful. We always felt that you had our best interests at the forefront, and I do know when it came time for us to choose a distribution company your knowledge and pointing us in the right direction was invaluable.
– June Escalante, The Burial

Alex and his team at Blood Sweat Honey are phenomenal at making their clients feel comfortable while taking care of all their needs. I guarantee you'll be satisfied with their services!
– Valerie J Tucker, Louder Than Rock

My experience with Alex Nohe and BloodSweatHoney has been outstanding and our partnership on "Vengeance Turns: Volume One" and "Volume Two" has been productive and fulfilling. Regarding results as well as ongoing service, they have lived up to every promise they ever made and have been great to work with. I definitely look forward to working with Alex and his team on my next project.
– Robert Smith, Vengeance Turns: Volume One and Volume Two

I went in with a very specific hope and vision for what I wanted for our film. Not only was Alex able to deliver my exact wish-list of outcomes, he also improved our presentation with his expert perspective and insight. We even tweaked the name of our film based on his input and came out better for it in the end. Alex is a solid resource and a trustworthy partner in a crowded and cutthroat marketplace. He gets my highest recommendation.
– Luke Renner, What Lies Inside

Thanks for all your help with getting distribution together for us, we had a great experience working with you to get there and I feel I've learned a ton from this first release. Looking forward to the possibility of working together again soon.
Sincerely,
– Alex Alessi, When Everything's Gone

My experience with Alex Nohe and Blood Sweat Honey acting as the sales representative for my feature film “Last Testament” has been entirely positive. As a first time filmmaker working completely outside the Hollywood system, I had no existing connections in my attempt to reach an audience. Alex took a chance on my film when no one else would. Shortly after signing with Blood Sweat Honey I received multiple distribution offers. I know I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this without Alex working behind the scenes with his industry contacts.
– Anthony Catalano, Last Testament

Here at Blood Sweat Honey, we are Cinephiles.

We don't pretend to watch your movie. We love watching movies, especially independent films from emerging talent. We honestly don't understand the Reps or Sales Agents that don't.

Also, we don't pretend to be lawyers. We have lawyers.

We have taken over at least a dozen films initially repped by total clowns and landed them real results, so if the clown you are talking to is asking you to join their circus... Was that your dream?

If you're serious about getting your film represented properly, please feel free to contact any of or several of us.

We are here to help with distribution, film festival strategy, marketing or in general. For select A list level projects, we have Major Studio level contacts. References provided upon request.
