I just left the dermatologist, different story for a different day.....

But I'm totally shocked that the doctor didn't know that there is a difference between a school diagnosis and medical diagnosis of autism!

This just further confirms the amount of IGNORANCE there is as it relates it AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER! It also lets me know that there is so much work to be done!

Did you know that there was a difference???

"Little BOY BLUE" 🤣

Noah is getting older, smarter, stronger.....

Lately he has really been testing my authority ESPECIALLY IN PUBLIC... and it's EXHAUSTING and VERY FRUSTRATING..... We're at church the other night and its "business as usual" and he's cutting up sideways bc his dad has stepped out 🥴... oh yeah all his dad has to do is look 🙄🙄🙄.... This too, makes me extremely frustrated bc why Noah??? Anyways back to topic, I decided I'm going to lay this situation at the feet of God for his guidance, how to move forward! And for God to give me peace with whatever is necessary!

But on another note: ASD families will understand this... I'm so glad to be a part of a church who is accepting AND inclusive of Noah AND can see the ABLE and just not the label... alright I'm quitting bc I'm in tears!

So Noah has messed up ANOTHER iPad, and we can't locate the warranty paperwork... 🥴🥴🥴

So he's been using his talker for leisure (which is a major No-No)... but you improvise! I was so happy when he did this ALL ON HIS OWN!

He opened his "talker" app and independently requested chips bc I was having a hard time understanding him!

Iykyk, this is HUGE! We have a long way to go, but it's simple things like this that encourages me!

Outside of all my shirts, charms, etc! I am so passionate about advocating for Noah, our family, and other families such as ours! I see the need, especially in neighboring communities! I want us to have a voice and also PRESENCE! Our kiddos deserve extra curricular activities, after school programs, summer camps too!

As MUCH as I miss Georgia....

This is the MAIN reason we returned to Michigan, so that we can BOTH SHOW UP for our babies!

We agreed when we had them, that their NEEDS would be met, even if we had to sacrifice our happiness: TEMPORARILY!

I am so grateful to do life with my guy, he's the best to ever do it!
