Our Story
Mel's Crafty Mojo is the brainchild of Melissa Prell, built with help from her hubby, Bobby. Melissa has been making crafts on and off her whole life. She has worked many years in retail management and previously co-owned a retail business. She has been a stay-at-home mom and now grandma for the past few years. Bobby has also worked in retail management and previously co-owned a retail business. Currently, he works as a Quality Engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry and helps Melissa with Mel's Crafty Mojo in his spare time.

Mel's Crafty Mojo started out as just something I would do in my spare time while recovering from treatment for cancer back in 2015. While my hubby and adult daughter were at work, and while my grandbaby slept, I would while away the time crocheting items for my family to wear, as well as items with which to decorate my house. Then, one day, I decided "Why not sell the items I'm making?" And with that, Mel's Crafty Mojo was born! While the crocheted merchandise didn't exactly take off like I'd hoped, in 2018 I began my wreath-making adventure. And, WOW, I now knew that I'd discovered my REAL PASSION! I feel a true sense of pride in each wreath I make, as I believe my creations are a representative of myself, my love, my passion, my work ethic, and my creative self. Hence, each project is approached with great care, attention to detail, and a splash of mojo!
As time has gone on, I have come to join and love the wreath-making community online. I truly enjoy interacting with all of the wonderful people and sharing the beautiful creations we all come up with!
