We have revised a few things on the Book a Session tab on the website, essentially making it easier to book a session. A deposit will no longer be required to make a reservation. However, a 24 hour notice is still expected prior to cancelling a session and failure to do so will result in a one time fee of $50. Cheers and have a great weekend!

Well it's official we got all the label contracts and artists management contracts back from the lawyers. Fo N A Dub Records DBA FDR LLC will be in the business of artist management and signing artists to the label for recording contracts. Some of the benefits of artists management is that you don't personally have to contact lawyers, promoters, A&R's, publishers, booking agents, etc. we will do all of that work for you and make sure that you are getting the care and expertise you need. Signing to a label is nice because of the advances such as a recording advance where all the studio time you need to record and mix your album gets recouped from the back side of royalties rather than paying up front for the services. Not to mention that the label does all the work of releasing your album to digital distributors, manufacturers, etc. And we do all the planning and leg work for you. Hey what up guys, just wanted to give you all a quick update, our last Free Saturday Session went quite well and I want to thank ButtaMuzik for coming and blessing the studio last Saturday. The next Free Saturday Session (FSS) is coming up on March 14th and Walter Young, Lauren aka Delusion'L and Brandon are all in que for the next spots respectively. I'll be reaching out to people individually in addition to this post in case this isn't seen by everyone. Productive week in the studio and I'm working through the weekend trying to finish things before Christmas but it will probably be by NYE instead. Grand opening coming soon!

So way back in March I started this and only had 2 people take me up on this so far this year. So once again I'm going to try and share this post more often so that people know it's available. Long story short once a month on the second Saturday of each month I will give anyone who is a soloist, singer, rapper, etc. one free 3 hour block of studio time between 10am and 8pm. In that time most people can record a whole song and still have time for me to mix the project without having to pay a cent out of pocket.

The mic collection over here at the studio is getting quite nice. HMU if you want to work $50/hr. New minimum session is changing to 2 hours which is down from the previous 3 hours. Also, thank God for security sensors, cameras dogs and business insurance.
