The Belle Plaine Community Foundation (BPCF) – an affiliate of Legacy Regional Community Foundation – is currently accepting applications for local projects to apply for their Fall Youth Grants. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, October 20, 2024. Fall Youth Grant applications may be downloaded from the BPCF website at www.belleplainecommunityfoundation.org.

The Fall Youth Grants are made possible by a generous gift from the estate of Lanore Bishop providing for a large number of youth projects in the Belle Plaine and Mulvane communities.

Visit the Weigand Offices at 415 E 4th Ave, Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm to get on the list! Cash, Venmo, and CashApp are accepted. You will be put on the list for the September 29th Party on the Ridge Music & Barbecue: A Benefit For Valley Ridge Elder Care, Inc. $25 a ticket (kids under 12 get in free) for a concert and barbecue dinner! Performers include Highway 55, Grayson Kuchar Music, and the Holy Cross Lutheran Church German Band. Time—Gates open at 1pm with a concert and barbecue 2–6pm
Where—860 North Woodlawn (1 mile East and 1/2 mile south of Belle Plaine) at the future Valley Ridge Elder Care site.

🚧 K55 Construction Update 🚧

Attention Belle Plaine residents: Starting Monday, August 26th, our K55 construction project will begin Phase 4! Traffic control will shift east of 4th Street, with work starting on the east side and gradually moving west. Please plan your routes accordingly and stay safe near the construction zones.
