🥉 Congratulations to Lyla Stivers & Maia Zizak for winning the bronze metal at 2023 SkillsUSA competition! This was our very first year at State Competition and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who made it this far. These two ladies are now ranked #3 in the State of Indiana for Digital Cinema Production! WOW! …Go North Lawrence Career Center and North Lawrence Community Schools… We are so proud of all the amazing talent that is In our schools and our CTE programs!

🎥 CC-Productions class making history tomorrow morning as the first ever in the Radio/TV and production program at the North Lawrence Career Center and Bedford North Lawrence High School to be competing at a State level for SkillsUSA!

These students have worked hard, and have some amazing talent with digital cinema production, it has been my honor to help guide them. Wish everyone from the Career Center luck as we all head to state competition first thing in the morning! 🥇

Proud moment here! Our video production class (Career Center Productions) with North Lawrence Career Center has passed up and will now be headed to the 2023 State Competition for SkillsUSA! Ten of the students will be broken up into groups of two and given a prompt with four days to complete a high-quality video production!

My students are working very hard to prepare for this big weekend ahead in April! If any of them win, they could be headed to compete in Nationals! I couldn’t be more proud of each, and everyone of these hard-working, creative students.

Another proud moment today! This young lady “Avery Southern” just accepted a softball scholarship at Hanover College! Avery will be majoring in Spanish and minoring in photography and the arts! …Go get em’ Avery, I know you will do great! 🎉🎉🎉

👉🏻 I am so proud of this young man right here. Sayge Ramos was officially accepted into Compass College of Film and Media in Michigan and is finishing up the process to join them in the Fall! Being just a first year teacher, I wasn’t too sure about what to expect …But I am finding that there are some really hard working students at North Lawrence Career Center and Bedford North Lawrence High School that are eager to learn industry professions and I couldn’t be more excited for the teaching years to come! Congratulations Sayge, keep creating bro!

Looking forward to seeing all of our high school students (11th & 12th graders 👀😀) and their parents/guardians tonight at the 2nd Annual 3Expo. There will be representatives providing information on positive next steps for your plans to EMPLOY, ENROLL, or ENLIST.

The event also has giveaways, breakout sessions, and loads of helpful information. We will see you tonight beginning at 5pm in the BNL Cafeteria!
