Dear North Lawrence Community Schools Families and Community Members,

Due to continued hazardous winter weather conditions, all North Lawrence schools, including Playful Pathways, will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. All NLCS sporting activities and practices will be canceled as well. The safety of our students, staff, and community remains our top priority.

After over 50 years helping families during the most difficult times of their lives, Steve Underwood retires from full-time service as a funeral director tomorrow. Steve started in 1972 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home for Bob Lee, and most of his years have been spent right there on the corner of 18th & I Streets. He will be missed, but we fully expect to see him from time to time.

Be sure to wish him well if you see him, and feel free to stop by Ferguson-Lee Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 8:30am - 4:00pm to show your appreciation for a job well done.
