Doing good deeds this weekend.
Thank you, Tuck N' Roll Media, for the much needed treats and supplies!
For the 5 or so people who will read this:
It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I must begin to pull away from filming video for clients. My health has been in decline for some time now and shooting video, as much as I love doing it, just takes too much out of me.
I can still fly my drone, as that takes much less effort, and I’m still available to edit video and do voiceover work from my home office.
I want to thank everyone for their continued support.
Interesting milestone today Heading out into the gulf for a client!
I posted this photo back in 2015 for the passing Leonard Nimoy. Today I’m posting it again for Nichelle Nichols, aka Lieutenant Uhura.
To honor her memory, here are a few Nichelle Nichols facts you may or may not know about her and her career.
Nichelle, along with William Shatner created the first ever in*******al kiss on television.
For about ten years she worked at NASA in charge of astronaut hopefuls and recruits.
She was the first ever black woman to place her hands in cement at Hollywood’s Chinese Theater.
She was a lifelong Democrat.
She turned in her resignation for Star Trek at one point, but it was none other than Dr. Martin Luther King, himself, who convinced her to stay. He told her that Star Trek was the only show he approved of his children watching because of her groundbreaking character. Until Star Trek, black women were only used as stereotypical roles; maids or housekeepers.
Several female astronauts have mentioned Nichelle SPECIFICALLY as the inspiration for their careers.
She was discovered by and toured with Duke Ellington as a singer/dancer.
In 2001 an asteroid was renamed Nichols in her honor.
Her loss is a major tragedy. Goodnight, sweet lady. And “Hailing frequencies closed, Captain.”
Some days are just awesome!

A very busy week here at TNR. A shoot at LSU’s PMAC for Welcome Week on Monday. Much thanks to AAV for that!
Tuesday was a commercial drone flight for a marketing campaign for a local doctor’s offices.
Wednesday was a one-on-one shoot with Sheriff Bobby Webre of Ascension Parish (“I Shot The Sheriff” jokes abounded this week) at the WAG Center in Donaldsonville. That is for a project which will be edited next week.
That’s all for now. Make sure to get out and enjoy a lovely lemonade today!
Perqs of the job!
Very cool day today!
So long, Governor Edwards. Thank you for letting TNR be part of your last hurrah! RIP
Tuck N' Roll Media came up with the original concept of this commercial and its "fluttering angel" character. We also created all of the graphics and Chet Tu...

Tuck N' Roll Media shot & edited this recruitment video for the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office in the Spring of 2019.
Just a look around my neighborhood this morning during the snowstorm on Friday, December 8, 2017.
Spending time with the family this morning during the snowstorm on Friday, December 8, 2017. It was a beautiful time! STAY WARM!!!
Sometimes, things happen and you just HAVE to respond in any way you can. This is the story of a tough young man named Caleb, who lost his arm in a horrific car accident, and the amazing folks at Rebel Graphix who went above and beyond to give him a reason to smile. Tuck N' Roll Media shot & edited this entire video for the Jones family and Rebel Graphix. I really hope you enjoy it.
Last week, I got the rare chance to film at the Louisiana State Capitol building here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with my drone (Phantom 4 Pro) for AUVSI. I also got to film spring training for the Plaquemine Green Devils last week. I'm really excited to share this footage with you. Enjoy!
Meant to post this two weeks ago, but work and holidays got in the way. The Saturday night of the historic flooding, TNR was filming in Monroe at the Battle of the Badges for Captain Clay Higgins, now CONGRESSMAN Clay Higgins. The footage will be used for a proposed reality series about the Congressman currently being edited in Los Angeles. TNR obtained permission to put this video together to give you a taste! Enjoy!
For the past year, Tuck N' Roll Media has been working with Otey White & Associates every month on NAPA AUTO PARTS commercials that air in, up to seven different states! Last year we produced a spot that received an Addy Award this past February. The first example here is the award-winning spot and the second is one we recently produced that aired in Texas. A huge "THANK YOU" to Trent Bland for continuing to believe in TNR!
Back in February Tuck N' Roll Media produced a video for Rebel Graphix in Baton Rouge to show at the Addy Awards. Producer credit goes to Mark Vincent and Jaimee McGarvey from Rebel. The cooperation and talent of the Rebel Graphix team is unparallelled! Here's a look! Incidentally, we received two Addy Awards that night! Not bragging...just sayin! One more thing about Rebel Graphix. After the video was completed, they insisted on installing a tailgate wrap for the TNR truck as a way of saying "thank you" and it turned out absolutely gorgeous!
Another Tuck N' Roll Media project from this past Summer is Girls On The Run! Girls On The Run is a program for young girls that helps them develop confidence and learn important life lessons with an added bonus of keeping them healthy through running. A big thank you to BREW (sometimes known as BREW BRANDING) here in Baton Rouge for bringing us along on this very cool ride!
A while back, Chet had the opportunity to record a few character voices for a game that's now available on both Steam and the WiiU called Tadpole Treble. Tadpole Treble has been getting RAVE reviews and a kind of global success! Here's one of the characters that Chet voiced for the game.
