HUGE News! Beta has been selected to premiere at the Oscar qualifying L.A. Shorts International Film Festival in July! We’re a bit stunned and beyond excited. LA Shorts is one of the most prestigious short film festivals in the world, so this is definitely big! More to come on date and time but it will be between July 21-28. See you there!

After a year of pre-production and hours upon hours of planning, the moment came to press record on #Betathefilm. While we had not planned for the cold and rainy weather, we had an amazing team that made filming Beta the best experience we have ever had. Testing the Beta Set

Once the set is created and lit, you might think job done. Start filming. However nice that would be, so much more still needs to be done. Our amazing "Beta", Aubree Lea Bouché, was so kind to come to set a day early to help prepare the different lighting moods for the next day. We can do as much as we can to light without the talent, but it just isn't the same unless we see how the actor works with their space and how they fill the frame. Check out this #behindthescene video of our team working together to test the set, lighting, etc. before filming begins the next day.

Last week we introduced the importance of building the set and how we created the various looks in the background.
