Hey Facebook Friends!
I am currently working on a documentary about the Kern County Oilfields. For the folks who work on the rigs or the service companies here locally, it's been rough. California is "cracking down" on oil companies and drilling, while the state still uses over a million barrels of oil per day. People are put out of work, and companies are unable to operate.

My goal with this documentary is to shed light on the people—the hard-working folks in the oilfields, people who have worked their whole lives in a trade only to lose everything. Many folks have to start over while we still use millions of barrels of oil just in the state.

There isn't much we use today that doesn't contain oil. Over 50% of California's power is natural gas.
