Head to Uptown Houston and discover the lush design at Balboa Surf Club. The Texas-based studio Michael Hsu Office of Architecture used mid-century modern design to bring the upscale seafood restaurant’s atmosphere to life through the use of plants, rich-toned wood, and green upholstery.

Japanese food, culture, animation and more is taking over Pensacola, Fla. during the 2024 Foo Foo Festival with HizashiCon, the first-ever anime convention to be hosted by the coastal city. On Nov. 8 and 9 HizashiCon will deliver cosplay contests, Japanese pop performances and guest appearances by anime voice actors like Stephen Fu. Golfing pro Sergio Garcia sat down with 102.7 ESPN Austin Game Time hosts Erin Hogan and Noah Kreitz to discuss all things LIV Golf, his marriage into a Longhorn family, and, most importantly, the annual fundraising event he hosts with his wife Angela, Fore Kids ATX.

FORE Kids ATX, which will take place on Nov. 1 and 2, is a star-studded charitable celebration featuring a gala and golf tournament. Proceeds benefit Central Texas organizations, including Save Muny and The UGLI Foundation, an anti-bullying initiative founded by Angela. As a dedicated member of the Austin community, Sergio aims to give back to those around him who need it most.
