As we continue to film for the Bullock Texas State History Museum's new exhibit, we find ourselves in the Gulf Coast Region on Matagorda Island with Felipe Prieto, Wildlife Refuge Specialist with the Aransas/Matagorda Island National Wildlife Refuge. Texas Panhandle Plains' Bison
Bison in Caprock Canyons State Park. The herd began with only 45 bison. Today, there are about 200 as a result of the dedicated staff at the park. They run wild and are unpredictable, but if you're patient and lucky, you get a shot like this. Caprock Canyons State Park

We depart in a few days for the Philippines, India and Nepal and we'll be doing a lot of day-to-night time lapse filming. We tested our new gear out last night in Austin!
