Thirteen years ago today, episode 1 of "How Did I Get Here?" made its way into the world. When I started it, I had no idea where I was going with it, how I was going to sustain two shows a week, if I was going to quit after 10 episodes, no idea. Thirteen years later, it has changed the way I feel about myself and my musical family. I have a deeper gratitude for my music community because through the podcast, I've connected more deeply with "my people." Thank you for listening. Without you, it wouldn't happen, so thank you. Keep listening. Let's get down! ❤️

I can't believe I've put out 1400 episodes.... wow! It seems like just yesterday that I started inviting my friends over to tell me their life story and what keeps them inspired. Then, it started becoming therapy to me. Now, connecting with my community of fellow musicians, creators, and freaks keeps me grounded and inspired, and most of all, it makes me feel part of something bigger than myself. Thank you, community, and thank you for listening. ❤️
