Back in June when it was a thousand outside I recorded a Christmas album for and even then it had me feeling the spirit. It was awesome seeing it performed live at the album release party the other night, and amplifying it even further was an abundance of those tree shaped cookies with green sparkles. Always a great feeling seeing records come out into the world. Go give it some spins for some fresh holiday jams. I dig all of 'em...my personal fav atm being her brilliant original Misunderstood Mrs. Claus.

Hi everybody, hope your Friday is rolling smoothly. I’ll be playing at The Saxon Pub next Tuesday the 31st at 8pm and all proceeds from the show will go to the Robb School Memorial Fund setup to help families in Uvalde after the horrific events of this week. As I dropped my daughter off at school on this her last day of 11th grade I can’t even begin to imagine what these families and community are going through and my heart breaks for them. Recording the Hammond

Not much that’s more important in a studio than a good tech. The Leslie 31H and Hammond C3 had developed a nasty hum, but organ repair guru Bob Overton came to the rescue and hunted down a bad capacitor in the Leslie. He said it’s prob original, which puts it around 1948. Helluva run it had. He also gave a once over to all other needs, oiling, cleaning etc. The damn thing is eerily quiet now and sounds really amazing. It’s important to keep these beasts purring along in my opinion and we’re lucky to have folks around who can fix them.
