Binance CEO CZ Cool Under Pressure With USDC Withdrawals 🏛

Amid worries about leaving crypto assets on centralized exchanges, the Binance exchange weathered a run on assets this week. USDC withdrawals were halted for a few hours to slow down the fear reaction.

Chengpeng Zhao, AKA CZ, the CEO of Binance, maintained a cool head and hit the Twitter boards with his refreshing brand of transparency.

Let's all hope the man behind the public persona is more trustworthy than the cast of sociopaths who have dominated and decimated the cryptosphere in 2022.

CEO of FTX Sam Bankman-Fried Indicted By Grand Jury! ⚖️🏛

Finally, the previous CEO of defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTS, Sam Bankman-Fried, AKA SBF, was indicted today by US Grand Jury in the State of New York. He was also taken into custody by law enforcement in the Bahamas.

Charges include fraud, money laundering, and campaign finance violations.

FTX Founder SBF Says New CEO IS Spouting Falsehoods! 🤥

Mark Twain said there are three types of lies: lies, danmed, lies, and statistics.

Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of FTX, a dead in the water cryptocurrency exchange, is claiming all three against John Ray in the new CEO's court deposition this week.

Incidentally John Ray is who was brought in as CEO to oversee the Enron bankruptcy. The funny thing is Mr. Ray was hired at FTX months BEFORE the company imploded. That's certainly a c***k in the defense of SBF and his executive team when they say they had no idea that the money was funnier than Dave Chappelle playing basketball as Prince... shirts against blouses.

If you want to fail to make a career in any kind of art, then I suggest you work alone.

Hide away, hole up, and make your art. Then shove it in a drawer... or post it on SoundCloud without telling anyone.

But, if you want to succeed, it's time to start thinking of your career more like a soccer team and less like a tennis player.

Even tennis players have personal trainers, a coach, and in today's world, a social media manager.

Artists need to think of growing a team beyond artistic collaboration.

To reach more fans and explode your success, think about team members who support your art such as a digital marketer, a social media guru, a videographer, or an editor.

These people will also be needed to round out a successful NFT crypto crew. Hell, even add a Solidity programmer. (More on that in another video.)

Fans want to see how you make content, a behind the scenes look into the process.

If you are a musician that means giving them insider access to touring, studio time, and challenges and successes of writing your music in the first place.

Web 3 + NFT = Skyrocketing artist career.

When you are looking for collaborators, whether long term like band mates or shorter term for a single project, we creators need to look beyond creative skills and past work.

Are your collaborators willing or, even better, excited about engaging with fans on social media and web 3?

It might help if you dig into your potential collaborator's willingness to interact with fans. Does their style align with how you want to present or be perceived in the world and also how your ideal fans want to communicate.

For instance, let's say your fans love Tik Tok and never touch Facebook. Is your long term producing partner ready to jump from her preferred social media platform (in this case Facebook) onto Tik Tok and create more entertaining content?

That's just step one. The real secret formula or secret sauce for fans is delivering to them new VIP experiences through NFT projects and membership access beyond your art.

They want to see behind the scenes. They want VIP access to concerts (for musicians and theater) and maybe even to hang with you in the green room before the show. Yeah, I know, these might raise the levels of vulnerability for artists that could sound uncomfortable. But if they are buying membership NFTs to your inner circle for $10,000 a token, they are going to want and deserve some pretty special experiences.

Too Big To Fail? No Government Bailout For Crypto! 💰

The second largest cryptocurrency exchange FTX went bankrupt over the course of seven days. It all started from a determined reporter from Crypto.com digging into discrepancies around how FTX and it's leader Sam Bankman Fried (SBF) were using depositor funds.

What we won't see in crypto is government bailouts and that's a very good thing. Bad actors and bad ideas will be run out of town and only the good projects will remain. That didn't happen with the mortgage crisis where the government bailed out insolvent banks, car companies, funds, you name it, and the executives walked away with multi million dollar bonuses.
