As a community pharmacist for over 15 years, I’ve gained valuable insights into the diverse needs and challenges people face. This experience has fueled my passion for the past five years as a wellness advocate for non-profit and entrepreneur dedicated to reducing health disparities. Here are 4 times People Change, which are you?
1. People change when they hurt enough and they have too, which I've seen as a pharmacist of 15 years, usually a Diagnosis institute some type of change , but in some cases it doesn't last long because if the mindset of the medication is the end all be all. But we never get to the root cause.
2. People Change when they See enough and they are inspired too. Social media is an example, but some change we make off what we see may not always be beneficial if we don't understand their journey.
3. People change when they learn enough and they want to. I can resonate in this spot since I love learning the why and understanding the benefit.
4. People change when they receive enough, and they are able to. I can say this true as an entrepreneur, I've had people watch me, save post and comment, but didn't change their mind to purchase until they received enough to be converted.
The point is we all are becoming, it's your DE- CISION ( meaning to cut off) and make choice to live healthy and whole. It's a process, and I want to help you along your journey.

Enjoy this quick and flava-ful NOLA-inspired no peel BBQ shrimp recipe that's packed with lots of flavor and a little less salt! Start by seasoning your shrimp with my special no salt garlic herb and Creole Delight mix, along with 2 tbsp of oil - I prefer using avocado oil. Cook for 3 minutes on each side, then remove from the heat.
Next, add 3 tbsp of red and green bell pepper, 1 tsp of minced garlic, and 2 basil leaves to the pan. Sauté for 5 minutes, then stir in 1/2 stick of butter. Let it cook, then toss the shrimp back in and let it all simmer for 5 minutes. Voila! A mouthwatering dish that's sure to impress. Enjoy!

😋🍲15 min Nourishing Meal Save This!! See recipe below First up, we have our main ingredient: chicken. We will be seasoning it with Adobo inspired by flava. Layering DR FLAVA SPICES: mix 1/4 tsp Original Everything, Garlic Herb, NOLA Twist, and 1/2 tsp of ground oregano. Make sure to season both sides of the chicken breast well and let marinate either night or room temp for 1 hour with 1 tbsp of 🥑oil. Then, sauté it in some oil until it's nicely cooked 4-5 minutes on each side. While the chicken is cooking, let's prepare our onions and bell pepper slices: 1 whole green and 1 small yellow onion. Side dish - sautéed broccoli. Chop up your broccoli and let steam for 5 minutes. Then Add to the same pan with chicken drippings, onion, and bell peppers. Sauté them until they're tender but still have that bright green color. And there you have it, folks! A quick, easy, and flava-ful meal that's perfect after a workout or any other time of day. Enjoy! Food is 💊 Fueling our community with information and tools to equip them with tangible ways to eat healthier! 🙌🏾Today's 4th in-person event, Nourish and Thrive Salad Sensation, was a yummy success. Our Wellness Workshop focused on understanding chronic inflammation and the correlation of food-related diseases that stem from inflammation. -Diabetes -Heart Disease -Cancer -Arthritis Today, our community members were provided with an anti-inflammatory food list, lime chopped spinach, and nut recipe, along with two great supporting information from #aha reading food labels and how to store produce. We finished with a delicious interactive salad building with a variety of greens: 🥬🫑🥑Arugula, spinach and mixed greens, shredded carrots, red and yellow bell peppers, English cucumbers, avocado salad, pulled chicken, sautéed shrimp and mixed seeds, nuts, and cranberries. I made a light lime avocado oil dressing with DR FLAVA SPICES, Garlic Herb, and NOLA TWIST. Fuel your body with nutrient-rich snacks like these yummy kale chips to satisfy crunchy, savory flava while enjoying health benefits from vitamins and fiber. 🌿 Crispy Kale Chips Recipe 🌿 👉🏾Shop www.drflavaspices.com Ingredients: - 1 bunch kale, stems removed - 1 tbsp avocado oil - 1 tsp nutritional yeast - 1/4 tsp Dr. Flava Spices Creole Lemon Pepper - 1/4 tsp garlic herb seasoning Directions: 1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel. Make sure they are completely dry to achieve maximum crispiness. 3. Tear the kale leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl. 4. In a small bowl, mix together the avocado oil, nutritional yeast, Dr. Flava Spices Creole Lemon Pepper, and garlic herb seasoning to create a seasoning paste. 5. Pour the seasoning paste over the kale leaves and use your hands to massage the leaves, ensuring they are evenly coated with the seasoning. 6. Arrange the kale leaves in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping. 7. 👋🏾Hey Family! Today was an incredible day for me as I had the privilege of sharing my passion for wellness with a group of talented young girls at the Entrepreneurship Stem camp organized by @southerncrescentwomen. 🌿We delved into the significance of healthy eating, mindfulness, and the importance of reading food labels, as well as the negative impact certain ingredients can have on our health. It brings me great joy to see these young minds taking a proactive approach towards learning about these crucial topics, and also exploring entrepreneurship. I couldn't resist the urge to cook up something delicious, and so I prepared some mouth-watering turkey nachos using my special blend of spices. The girls even had a hand in creating a taco Flava profile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. To keep the excitement going, each girl received their very own spice pack, complete with two recipes and a pen. My hope is that the lessons and skills imparted during this camp will take root and grow into fruitful endeavors in the future.
