Our Story
Jennifer Heyward-Stokes's, co-owner of STS PR Branding and Marketing, the first client was impressed with the efforts she put towards Branding & Marketing Stokes Technical Services and inquired about assistance. Thus, Jennifer gave birth to STS Branding & Marketing. When she decided to open this division her main goal was to get exposure for her clients. She used her managerial skills and contacts that she has made over the years to make this business a success. In September 2014 she started with just two clients and has since expanded to over 190 clients for three divisions STS Branding and Marketing, STS Media and Publishing and Stokes Technical Services. STS has also expanded into higher-end marketing and PR (Public Relations). She also serves as the Creative Director for STS's third division SMP (STS Media and Publishing).
Jennifer Heyward-Stokes has an Associates's degree in Business Management and a Bachelors's in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. She holds a Masters's degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Jennifer has owned/operated a successful event planning business, daycare, and has provided business consulting to several small/corporate businesses. She decided to close her businesses in January 2011 to complete her Master's degree. Jennifer is also a Certified Event Planner and Co-Owner of Stokes Technical Services and STS Media and Publishing in Charleston, South Carolina. She has over 15 years in the PR, Event Management, and Marketing industry.
STS PR, Branding & Marketing has four locations to serve their clients: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City and Charleston, South Carolina locations. She has worked with numerous publicists within the industry and her clients have been endorsed by Candace Carey, Florina "FLO" Kaja, Jewel Tankard, Naja Rickette, and much more. Jennifer has given back to the community by holding BRAND SESSIONS workshops where startup companies can book with her to gain the logistics behind the business. The program shows them how to budget, create content, strategies for success, networking, brand development and so on. To-date she has assisted in helping over 100 start-up companies since starting Brand Sessions Workshop. She is also the author of Business Branding and Bull#$@!. The e-book shows you how to deal with the different levels of success, clients, and THE DOS AND DON'TS in Business. The book is designed to show what to expect when you start in business and how to cope with rejection. Currently, Jennifer employes and all-female staff and publishes three magazines geared toward Women and Men in Business, Luxury Brands, and Entertainment.
Jennifer started in the PR field at age 20 years old. She started her first company Joi Event Designs and Diva Entertainment. Where she designed and created events for high-end clients.
