Gourmet Beef and Gnocchi Skillet 🧀
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add the diced onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
Stir in the gnocchi, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until gnocchi is tender.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover the skillet. Let sit until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
