MY DAUGHTER’S LANDLORD SET HER UP TO KICK HER OUT OF THE HOUSE AND INCREASE RENT — WE SHOWED HIM HE MADE A MISTAKE.

My daughter, Lily, rented a modest house with a big backyard that was mostly dirt and concrete when she moved in. Despite the uninspiring landscape, Lily, an avid gardener, transformed it into a blooming oasis.

After five years with my boyfriend Lewis, he still hadn’t proposed. I wasn’t pushing him, but it started to feel like it might never happen. Then, one day, while my mom and sister were visiting, I overheard Lewis telling my mom that he hadn’t proposed because he thought I wasn’t ready for kids.

That couldn’t be further from the truth, and I wanted to show him I was ready to be a mom. But then, something unexpected happened. MY DIL DEMANDED I BABYSIT MY GRANDKIDS ON MY LONG-AWAITED VACATION WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME – I TAUGHT HER A LESSON ABOUT RESPECT.

Finally, after two years of working and apart from babysitting my grandkids three hours a day and many backaches and joint issues, I took my vacation!

I bought tickets to the Bahamas and left. For two days, I had massages, long beach walks, and enjoyed the sunsets!

"George is on his business trip, my parents have house repairs, and I'm going on my retreat. And you know what? It's in the Bahamas!! Isn't it amazing? We're already boarding, I need you to watch the kiddos!"

So, her parents had repairs, and I had a vacation, but I had to babysit the kids? I was MAD AS HELL and wasn't ready to give up so easily.

MI HIJO PEQUEÑO LLAMÓ MAMI A UNA VENDEDORA EN UNA TIENDA – SI HUBIERA SABIDO QUE NO FUE ACCIDENTALMENTE.
