One morning at work, I noticed something off in the lobby—a homeless man standing near the security guard, looking exhausted and scared. I couldn’t just walk by, so I asked if he needed help. He said he needed to warm up, get some food, and have some water. I handed him a bottle of water and tried to take him inside to feed him, but the guard stopped me, citing the rules. Our office manager, Tom, arrived, kicked the man out, and reprimanded me.

Determined to help, I told the man to wait by the back entrance. We met later, and I took him to lunch, where we talked about life. Little did I know this small act of kindness would change everything.

Not long after, I arrived at the office to find everyone in a frenzy, whispering and clearly panicked. I asked a colleague what was going on, and she told me the shocking news: the owner of the company had passed away, and now no one knew what was going to happen to us or the business.

As if on cue, the elevator doors opened, and out walked a lawyer. My boss, Tom, rushed over, eager to make a good impression, practically throwing himself in the lawyer’s path.

MY HUSBAND MOCKED ME FOR BUYING A FLEA MARKET EGG, BUT WHAT WAS INSIDE LEFT HIM SPEECHLESS.

I've always loved wandering through flea markets in search of hidden treasures, and this find was one of those moments... IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! An incredibly beautiful vintage gilded egg, the perfect little jewelry box. After haggling with the seller, I proudly brought my find home.

But instead of a warm welcome, my husband greeted me with sarcasm, "HEY! FOUND ANY MORE JUNK?!" I pulled the egg out of my bag and held it up to the light. To me, it was stunning, but my husband only saw rust and considered it a "wasteful" purchase.

MY COWORKER MOVED INTO THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR – HER REASON LEFT ME PALE

Emma and I were just casual coworkers—chatting about work stuff, maybe grabbing lunch now and then, but we didn't know much about each other's personal lives. Then, a couple of months ago, I noticed the house next door had a "For Sale" sign. Soon enough, a moving truck showed up, and to my surprise, it was Emma moving in. It was strange that out of all the places in the city, she ended up right next to me.

At first, I shrugged it off as a weird coincidence, but then things got creepy. Emma suddenly became very interested in my life—asking about my schedule, where I liked to hang out, and what time I got home. And every time I stepped outside, she was there too, like she was waiting for me. It started to feel like she was watching my every move.

One night, I came home late and noticed her light on in the room directly across from mine, with her silhouette just standing there, staring out at me. It sent chills down my spine, but I tried to brush it off.

So, my mother-in-law asked me to plant some posies in her backyard, and while I was digging, I hit something unexpected. It was a box, and inside was an old videotape buried in the ground. This clearly wasn't an accident, so I decided to take the tape to a friend's house—one of the few people I know who still has a VHS player.

I often order food delivery when I'm too tired to cook for my kids, and over time, we got close with the delivery guy in our area. However, the last time he arrived, he seemed nervous and fidgety.
