Piggybacking off my last post… this journey has also tested our marriage. I’ve seen a lot of posts on of women saying they’d rather have a “rich man that cheats… instead of a broke man who is faithful!”

The institution of marriage is under attack because many no longer view it as the cornerstone of society. Through this time… my wife has not turned her back on me, kicked me while I’m down…nor has she emasculated me for the cards that life has dealt.

Instead… she’s encouraged me. Uplifted me. Believed in me and supported me through my lows. At the end of the day, marriage is the good and the bad. Through sickness and health and I’m thankful that God blessed me with a PROVERBS woman because without her by my side through this, IT could have taken me out.

But I’m still HERE. And she’s still here. So let’s champion God ordained unions. For His will is for two to become ONE ☝🏽

These last two years I’ve been in my feelings🤣. From losing a high paying job. To maxing out my savings (all the change my dad left me when he passed)… a lot of tears, a lot of stress, a lot of disbelief. A lot of unknown outcomes.

Through it all… GOD has showed up countless times in practical and tangible ways. From mortgage extensions to putting it on someone’s heart to bless my family to Him using us for His glory.

You probably look at us and can’t even tell. And that’s the point of this post!

One things for certain and one things for sure… I am… my family is… my marriage is… EVIDENCE of God’s faithfulness. When everything we thought was gonna sustain us disappeared… GOD showed me that if I focus on my relationship with Him… He’ll work everything else out.

I WILL NEVER PUT MY FAITH IN ANYTHING BUT HIM.

When I was younger I always thought making love would be like how it’s depicted in movies. So beautiful. So intimate. I quickly realized it ain’t really like that. You can play music and all that but you not bout to recreate a love making scene from none of those movies you watching🤣

That’s when it dawned on me. Making LOVE is really making BABIES. What says love more than a baby?

When two people come together and make a baby, that’s the greatest act of love outside of Jesus dying on the cross. Don’t argue with me either because i ain’t got time today.
