Don't forget to designate someone to cut your cake if your caterer isn't handling it! 🍰 Such as close family members or friends (make sure to have at least 2). It’s a small detail that's easy to overlook.

Note: While some venues/caterers may charge a fee for this service, it's worth it for the expertise they bring. Trust me, I've tried to help cut wedding cakes before and ended up wearing more frosting than I'd like to admit!😂 Leave it to the professionals to ensure a seamless cake cutting experience.

Another wedding pro tip coming at you for 2024! Make signs for your dessert/cake table. When offering a range of desserts or cake/cupcake flavors, it's helpful to have signs that specify the type of dessert or a sign that indicates the flavors of each cupcake or cake layer. And an extra added tip, let your guests know when the dessert table opens to prevent it from being enjoyed before dinner. While it may not deter everyone, it can discourage some from indulging in dessert before the main meal.
