The course will also provide an overview of the latest digital cameras from a simple Canon DLSR to RED or ARRI cameras. We cover how different shot types are used to compose a scene, basic and advanced lighting setups, and advanced audio recording setups and the selective use of microphones. You develop a deeper understanding of what shooting for editing truly means. We look at the work of master cinematographers and how it can relate to your own practice.
