Jerry and Megan were young parents.

They were still in university when their daughter Alice was born, and after the couple graduated, they decided to continue their active lifestyle and went camping with their one-year-old daughter.

To their surprise, the trip turned out to be much more exhausting than they had anticipated because Alice kept crying in between, and they were tired of trying to calm her down.

"Oh no, Jerry, she's crying again. I have to look after our dinner, so you'll have to go check on her this time," Megan grumbled.

I was 19, just a regular college student, when my world flipped upside down. I found out I was pregnant. The father? He vanished as fast as he appeared, leaving me to figure it out alone. The only hope I had left was my parents.

So, I gathered all my courage and went home to break the news. I explained to them what had happened, and how I’d need to put my college plans on hold. I barely got the words out when my mom completely lost it.

“WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING? NO! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPENING! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING SCHOOL!” she screamed.

“Mom, please—” I tried to reason.

“NO! I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING COLLEGE! YOU HAVE TO GET RID OF THAT BABY!” she continued, her voice echoing through the house.

“Mom! No! I’m keeping it. I’ve already decided,” I insisted, but that only fueled her rage.

“THEN YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS HOUSE ANYMORE! I WILL NOT HAVE AN ILLEGITIMATE CHILD HERE! YOU’RE THROWING YOUR LIFE AWAY! GET OUT! GET OUT NOW!”

My husband and I recently went on vacation to Mexico. However, my husband refused to take photos of me or with me. When I asked him why, he said he wasn’t in the mood.
His behavior deeply upset and embarrassed me. I also noticed that he started hiding his phone from me.
Suspecting something was wrong, I took his phone while he was in the shower and checked his recent messages. When I opened his group chat with his friends, tears welled up in my eyes.
