Dear Ex, you took this sweater shirt without my consent. I will need it back๐
Last week, I visited Rwenzori Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities (RAP-CD), a school in Kasese District, Uganda to check on young boys & girls within the facility.
I then came across Mumbere Clovis, an 8yr old armless boy whose strength is in his legs, be it with writing or doing other things closer to him. Clovis is now in Primary three class and to me, he is a true definition of โDisability is not Inabilityโ.
God creates people in different ways, and blessed are the ones who accept who they are in life.
Clovis and many other disabled persons need public attention, social inclusion and all sorts of humanitarian help to keep the world moving. If I can do it, so can you. As An activist for young people and Teen Outreach Foundation Director, I appeal to everyone that letโs merge efforts to support the needy.
I today spent IWD2024 with students of Mutanywana SS in Kasese District, where we combined efforts with my team to engage teenage girls with the dangers of teenage pregnancies.
It feels good when you chose to use a loud voice for impacting lives positively.
Happy womenโs Day to the female gender out there.
What should local artistes do to earn handsome royalties from their products?
Fact is; it might be quite challenging since most of the musicians here lack knowledge on what to do after. The act of not minding about the technical know-how in running a professional brand is very high among local creatives
For example in Rwenzori region, 95% of the musicians we have here do not know what unions like UNCC, UMA, NUCPAAW, National cultural forum, Kenzoโs federation etc contribute to their singing careers.
Infact if you ask most of them, they will clearly tell you nothing they know about UPRS and what it does. That's why such an organ is manipulating artistes by eating all the percentage of revenues collected from media houses, Telecom companies and other music publishing sites yet it's supposed to be shared accordingly. All this is being done at the back of your mind but you are here getting excited(on empty stomachs) for releasing more music yet in actual sense you are feeding UPRS people's bellies.
LESSON: It's now time to organize yourselves and play cards proffesionally. You put in much energy, money and time to create your craft. Take your time off and know the avenues on which you can monetize your music in any means, be it stage, promos, online etc.
Fight for copyrights of your crafts because many in this industry are looking forward to earn big for themselves and their families by using your own craft, and at the end of the day it's you with your talent who will die poor.
To any local artiste reading this message, I advise you to re-read, learn from it and transform yourself.
I have toured to almost 80% of the Secondary schools within Kasese District. Recommend any school you would wish me and the TOF team to visit this academic term.
For the past days, I have been getting messages from different angles about my name being dragged into baseless statements on internet.
I wonder why a human would go ahead to attach the name BIGSAM to any love related issues that have never existed. If you need a preamble, I meet very many people via internet and the only connection we have in common is business-related since they come with the approach of hiring me as a voice to amplify market for their products on sale. And that doesnโt NOT mean I have intimate relationship or any love engagement with any of them. In the same sense, I donโt think one would at any point chose to harm another in the name of fighting for a person they have no intimate connection with. So someone should be pushing wrong doctrine to cover hidden agenda somewhere, and time will tell.(Read that twice)
Now, to whoever is sharing explicit content on internet to damage credibility of my brand by tinting my image upside down, I donโt know your clear intentions in doing this. I have reported this matter to authorities for thorough observations and if you are found in the circle of schemers, you will be called to explain what you know.
Section 180 (1) of the Penal Code Act, under the rules of law will deal with some of you for any defamatory statement you have chosen to front in the linen of this whole situation. In the end, your ignorance will leave you apprehended.
We all pray for the sick to heal with whatsoever sheโs battling with. But then, when you people resort to use the situation to initiate/frame fake excuses in order to fulfill your secret mission(s) against innocent people, it is really uncalled for. God is watching you.
People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you achieve them!
I am wedding this year and the ceremony will be in Congo Brazzaville. Iโm inviting yโall who will manage to travel with me๐

One big reason why I started following up the South Sudan music industry is because artistes know how to invest in their craft. When I visited Juba last year in October, I took my good time to make good research about their industry and I liked it. Before I came back to Uganda, I had interacted with a couple of TV & Radio presenters from different media houses within Juba City and this gave me a clear picture of how their art industry is rapidly growing. That aside, I used to listen to legendary Silver X music before I even travelled to South Sudan, liked his songs and started adding them on playlists for my radio shows. I never knew how big he is untill I started conversations with media personalities in S.Sudan. One of them told me "Aaah that one is the G.O.A.T here". Silver Xtra is not the only one I knew, there are some other musicians like Lady Kola John Frog Mary Boyoi Single D and many more. All these singers are big in their country, but then Silver X is a blessing to the industry for having paved way for most artistes. It's from this background that I started following up their work keenly and promised myself to push their craft beyond boarders for Ugandans to know there's great talent in our neighboring country. Above all, there's this latest music album from Silver X titled BELEDI JEMIL that you all need to find out. It's an inspirational project that I think will amplify more things about S.Sudan. check link in bio https://youtube.com/@SilverXMusicMachine
This is the very first time the now "big and inspirational" artiste Edrine K Music did an interview on camera in 2019. That is not enough to know, it was my first too๐๐. I feel so motivated when I see her flourish, with our initial contribution as part of her journey in music career. Wish you the best in all endeavours ๐
