A SHORT STORY OF ARUA!!

The name Arua was derived from the nearby Arua hill and its name literally means,
"in prison" in Lugbarati, indicating a JAIL on the HILL.
Arua also served as the capital of the former West Nile province.

There are different means to reach Arua,
i.e flight, buses, car, ferry etc.
The distance between Kampala and Arua 535.1km

Lugbara is the major tribal group forming the population of Arua, who speaks their dialect. being a commercial town,
