Buikwe RDC Hajat Hawa Ndege Namugenyi in spotlight for siding with a one John Lubogo of Kitende, over family land wrangles in Lugazi. The land in question that goes beyond 600 acres also supports Mehta Group ( Scoul sugar growing plant) on a lease that has been running for years .

During this Christmas holiday the RDC, Hawa authorised Lubogo to survey and remap the land in question without consultations from other family members who disagree with Lubogo's administration rights which they call invalid.

Some of the family members who have chosen to remain anonymous say it has come to their notice that this stealthy land move is scheduled for 28th. Dec. - this Thursday.

In her words that were shared on record to our team , the RDC accepts to have met Lubogo and gave him a go ahead saying he showed her papers as the true adminstrator of the said ,and there is no way she could resist helping him.

One of the village chairpersons on that land (names withheld) , says in a meeting they held with Lubogo, they warned him not to proceed with surveying the land without first resolving their family issues on this land but he refused.
