At the age of 10, he has been listening to the masterful mixes and skills of Andre Holder also know as Dj Ding D**g local Disc Jockey on radio station 96.1wefm and at that point all he could have done was sit back and think what if one day i can be as great as Ding D**g with such amazing blends, scratching and joy, but little did

i know i was slowly being prepared for such experience. At the age of 15, then a Form 3 student at the Carapichima West Secondary School, the school needed a responsible student to assist with the schools sound system and low an behold Shannan "Dj Truth" Edwards got word of such opportunity an took the challenge head on, upon taking such challenge he knew it would not of been an easy task but with the faith of God he got the job done in a professional manner. From that day onwards, he then realized that he had an overwhelming love and passion for music; deejaying in particular. A few months later he met a gentleman by the name of Curtis 'Melodyus' Scope, a man of many talent in Production at central records, Deejaying, Vocals, Drumming and much more. After Curtis Scope met and interacted with Dj Truth for a couple of weeks he began to realize Dj Truth Talent and love for deejaying Curtis decided to take Dj Truth under his wings for a little while and teach him the foundation of Deejaying, after which DJ Truth started to progress and went on to delivering the idea of starting an internet radio station with Mr. Curtis Scope which was very successful. Aiming on even bigger things DJ Truth decided to branch out on his own and start his solo career, but still being guided by Curtis Scope. this was indeed a great and positive move for Dj Truth as gigs started to roll in and Dj Truth started to build a brand for himself. Sometime in the month of October 2012 on the Black Berry Messenger Network (BBM) DJ Truth had a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet a gentleman by the name of David Adams. After weeks of communicating an Dj Truth got to find out that David is the manager of Super Star Artiste Mr Renzo, Truth had a pleasure of meet with Mr. Renzo an building a friendship that turned into a brother hood. After Months of just talking and getting to know each other Dj Truth took that opportunity to enquire whether Mr. Renzo was in need of a personal DJ. Renzo already had a personal DJ but because of his persistence and enthusiasm he was offered the position of being Mr. Renzo’s alternate personal DJ. This day was a true blessing for Dj truth and a dream come true. After this DJ Truth went on to become a full-fledged member of Team Renzo. to be continued......
