Born 2nd November 1913 – 30th March 2000 was 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 Dancer/Choreographer 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐌, 𝐓𝐂, 𝐎𝐁𝐄
Widely known as the "First Lady of Dance" she established 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 in Woodbrook, Port of Spain, and promoted the culture and arts as her life's work. In promoting the cultural legitimacy of 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐌𝐜𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 would play a pivotal role that would help shift the country into the age independence. 𝐃𝐫.𝐌𝐜𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 dedicated her life to dance, becoming one of the greatest influences on modern 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 Dance and Pop Culture.
