Synopsis

Once upon a time in the 'Flavour World', five martial artists represented five tastes; bitter, salty, umami, sweet and sour, participated in the fighting contest to become 'the best taste ever'. Meanwhile, the Curry Demon of spicy taste also came to the scene. Who will be the winner, which deserves to be the only taste in the 'Holy S**t Flavourful Dish' and tasted by the god?

Fanart contributes to Roy Khan, a lead vocalist of the progressive metal band Conception and the symphonic power metal band Kamelot.

Roy Khan is one of my favourite singers; regardless he is half Thai-Norwegian. He studied opera for three years, that's why his voice is so amazing. He shocked the fan by announcing his departure from the band Kamelot in 2011 due to his (mental?) illness.

In 2018, he made his return to music by reunited with Conception, and in early 2020 they released a full album 'State of Deception'. I'm delighted with it, but comparing to the previous Kamelot albums, it is slightly less attractive.

“Whose Story?: Legendary & Historical Figures in Southeast Asia” is a set of informative stories concerning Southeast Asian topics, with brief details of the notable figures, their historical contexts and necessary information. Some of them are not Southeast Asian origin, but their roles in the history of this region are importance.

The illustrations of all figures inspired by historical information as far as I can get, mixed with my imagination, some of them may not seem realistic, hoping readers understand.

The first volume (e-book) will be available in early 2021.

“Whose Story?: Legendary & Historical Figures in Southeast Asia” is a set of informative stories concerning Southeast Asian topics, with brief details of the notable figures, their historical contexts and necessary information. Some of them are not Southeast Asian origin, but their roles in the history of this region are importance.

Southeast Asia in my perspective is not focusing on the modern nations of ASEAN only, of cultural sphere includes Southern China, Taiwan, Ryukyu Islands, Bangladesh, Northeast, East and Southeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, New Guinea, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. To understand the history of this region, we have to understand the historical background of these areas as well. That makes Southeast Asia one of the most diverse places on the planet and very rich in stories.

The book series divides into four volumes. The first volume (e-book) will be available in early 2021.
