POACHERS INTERCEPTED BY SEA PURSUIT

Officers of the Marine Branch Sea Pursuit intercepted a 30ft white and blue 'panga' type fishing vessel at about 1:15p.m., yesterday February 6th 2019.

According to reports, the vessel powered by two 40HP outboard engines was fishing 11 miles South East of Great Sand Cay and carrying 57lbs of marine products.

The vessel was taken to the Marine Base with no incident or major issues.
