Miss World Singapore 2019
Miss World Singapore is the national franchise of the prestigious Miss World. Award-winning singer-songwriter and social entrepreneur RTg. Dato Sean Wong, in partnership with 2018 Outstanding Man Of The Year Award (Philippines) recipient Arnold Vegafria, has been appointed as the National Director and Official Licensee of Miss World Singapore by Miss World Organization Founder Mrs Julia Morley.
Miss World Singapore is more than just a mainstream beauty pageant, it is a beauty festival with a purpose. We seek to promote the empowerment of young women and inculcate good social values in the world today. As part of our “Beauty With A Purpose” core social mission, Miss World Singapore focuses on a charitable mission while also promoting culture to the rest of the world.
Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant since 1951, and has been broadcasted in 180 countries and franchised in more than 100 countries. As someone who embodies attributes of compassion, empathy, elegance and grace, Miss World will be one who can champion meaningful charitable causes on a global scale. During her reign, Miss World will spend the year travelling around the world in support of worthy causes.
Till date, Miss World Organization has raised more than 250 million pounds for children’s charities that have helped disabled and underprivileged children. Taking inspiration from Mrs Julia Morley’s “Beauty With A Purpose” charity mission to help the underprivileged in various parts of the world, we aim to provide opportunities for our beauty queens to serve the community and impact the lives of others.
