💬It says, "dewy hydrating" moisturiser, but for my dry & dehydrated skin, the dewiness gets absorbed into my skin quickly into a nice sheer finish, and I prefer it that way😍. It is sufficiently hydrating as my morning moisturiser but not as my night cream.

Team AHA or BHA?

Most of us are familiar with Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. It is their No. 1 product, and a cult favourite. If you have stubborn blackheads or blemish prone skin, you'll need this. 🩶

I use this exfoliant once or twice a month, like a deep cleansing skincare routine. I find it stinging my face sometimes.

Recently, I was introduced to their 8% AHA Gel Exfoliant. It helps to remove built-up layers of dead skin revealing smoother, firmer-looking skin. This feels more gentle for my dry and sensitive skin, I use it once a week. There is no tingling sensation, so I love this better! 💙

I'm From Rice Sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen?? (Honestly I didn't know it till I write this caption!😄)

The sunscreen contains 41% Goami Rice Extracts from Yeoju, South Korea which can help remove skin impurities for a softer and smoother skin texture and brighter complexion. It blends easily into the skin without leaving any stickiness and it feels hydrating on my skin too.

Both are similar in terms of finish, not matte or dewy. Feels cooling & hydrating on skin, not sticky, and no white cast. Perfect for hot 🔥 summer ☀️! SG peeps will love them.

If I have to choose, I'll prefer the sun lotion over the sun stick because it sits better under makeup. 💙

The cleansing balm turns my face green...🤢

Numbuzin No.3 Pore & Makeup Cleansing Balm contains Green Tea and Charcoal. No wonder my face turns black & green! 🤣🤣 I can feel the dirt as I remove my makeup, more than other cleansing balms I've used. My pores are so clean, and my face doesn’t feel oily or too dry after I rinse off with water.💦

AM vs PM moisturiser 🌄🌃

I prefer a lightweight cream, it must non-tacky, hydrating and allows sunscreen and makeup to sit well on it. The Body Shop Edelweiss Smoothing Day Cream is my choice. It is enriched with leontopodic acid to give you the smooth finish. 96% of the ingredients is of natural origin.

I prefer a nourishing cream that provides anti-aging benefits and long-lasting hydration during my 8 hours of beauty sleep 😴. My current favorite is Vichy Liftactiv Collagen Specialist. I already into my 2nd bottle, so you know it works for dry skin peeps like mine.

Vichy Liftactiv A-B-C skincare regime👇

🌙Retinol Specialist serum contains 0.2% pure retinol, targets all types of wrinkles. Its milky texture absorbs immediately into the skin.

☀️🌙B3 Anti-Dark Spots serum contains 13% Niacinamide serum helps to reduce dark spots. It is lightweight and oil-free, and absorbs quickly into skin.

☀️C15 Brightening serum contains 15% pure Vitamin C for brighter skin, it has a non-greasy, non-sticky and non-shiny feel. TIP: Let the serum sits for a minute before layering another serum or applying moisturiser.

I'm using the B3 and C15 serums on alternate days. I prefer using the C15 and Retinol in my AM and PM skincare routines as my skin improvement is more obvious with this duo, when compared to using B3 anti-dark spots serum. 😅.

💬On a side note, I really love their dropper glass bottle design, I find it easier to control the amount of serum to dispense and the direct application of my face. They look so good together! 💕

We have emptied this cleanser! Yes, my son & I shared the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Caring Wash. This fragrance-free facial cleanser works well on my son's oily & acne-prone skin, it helps to keep his skin clean and clear, as for myself, I love it as my morning cleanser. I need a backup immediately!!😅

Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate - powerful well-aging serum, you need to try it once to understand why this is so good. Filorga Optim-Eyes Intensive Revitalising 3-in-1 eye couture cream - effective for hydrating & depuffing undereye areas. Great for dry skin. Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution - brightening serum that gives you an overall luminous skin. Allies of Skin Peptides & Omega Firming Eye Cream - comparing this with the Filorga one, AoS eye cream helps more on firming and brightening the undereye areas, but it is not as hydrating as Filorga. If you have dark circles, you can try this. Allies of Skin 20% Vitamin C Brighten + Firm Serum - this is my most recent purchase. It has a waterless base hence it is more difficult to work directly on skin. I recommend that you apply this serum while your toner is still damp with your skin. I have not used this serum on a regular basis so I cannot comment on its effectiveness yet. I will update you on this again.
