Since 2014, Anugya Sudan has been spreading the joy of cooking Indian food through her food blog ‘Indian Curry Shack’ (www.indiancurryshack.com) with her readers around the globe.
In 2015, she joined at-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, Singapore to study Culinary Arts in order to learn to better appreciate the science behind cooking from the industry experts. This experience piqued her interest in understanding cuisines from around the region. This led to her trying out new cuisines in the restaurants in Singapore. However, she always felt the need of a platform where diners could share their experiences and find particular speciality restaurants. Out of this need the concept of ‘TREAT’ was born.
Launched in 2018, TREAT is a free app available on iOS and Android devices to people all over the globe. Locals or tourists can download TREAT or visit www.treat.com.sg and start exploring Singapore’s best restaurants, cafes, bars and even hawker centres. They can find their menus, ratings, reviews, food and ambience photos, location, nearest Metro station, timings and more.
This year, she will be launching the TREAT Tribe, an exclusive diners’ club which will enable every diner to experience fine dining without breaking the bank.
