THE HELIX BRIDGE

Old Hill Street Police Station

FACTS:
- a 6-storey building covering a total floor area of 25,000 square meters, built in Neoclassical style with a total of 927 windows painted in rainbow colours, painted with varying intensities.

- Originally called the Hill Street Police Station and Barracks, it was Singapore’s largest government building in 1934 and was dubbed by the British as one of the finest police barracks in the world then.

The Fullerton Hotel

- a historical architecture that used to be the General Post Office Building and a naval fort during the British settlement in the 19th and early 20th century
- named after Robert Fullerton, the first Governor of the Straits Settlements in 1826-1829
